About Kelli
Kelli McConkey is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. She is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a member with the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario.
In addition to her clinical experience during her time in college, Kelli had the opportunity to work at a variety of sporting events including with the University of Guelph wrestling team. She also enjoyed working with clients from the Acquired Brain Injury Clinic and the MS Society. Her massage practice is influenced by techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, and Swedish massage.
Kelli is also a Vodder trained Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT) certified therapist. Treatments that include MLD/CDT are cases with primary or secondary lymphedema, edema, bruising, pre/post- surgery and sinusitis to name a few.
Kelli is passionate about helping other people reach their health and wellness goals. To help her clients achieve pain free-functional movement her goal is to create treatment plans that are specific to each client’s needs. Along with this, she tries to educate her clients on self- care to increase their recovery time, as well as prevent future injury.
