Our chiropractors carry out our Orthotic assessments, castings and subsequent fittings. We offer a 45 min orthotic assessment, where they will briefly assess your lower body to help determine whether orthotics are truly indicated and if so which ones.

You're never obliged to purchase orthotics. If you change your mind, we simply convert your appointment to a regular chiropractic assessment.

WHAT ARE ORTHOTICS?

Orthotics are custom-made heel inserts, prescribed by your doctor and made to your specific needs.

Many people may benefit from orthotics, from correcting foot deformities, helping with pain, biomechanical issues or reducing the risk of future injury. Various conditions may be benefited from back pain, arthritis, bunions, bursitis, diabetes, flat feet, hammer toes, heel spurs, high aches, injuries and plantar fasciitis.

What is the process for getting Custom-made orthotics?

1st Appointment: Orthotic Assessment
Our chiropractor Dr. Nicola Stone will perform a biomechanical gait assessment and take a mold of your feet. Together, you will decide which style of insert is best based on your intended use.

We require a $150 deposit for the inserts to be ordered.

2nd Appointment: Orthotic Pick-up
You will meet Dr. Stone once more, to pick up your new inserts and make sure they fit properly. They usually take 3-4 weeks to come after they've been ordered.

The remaining balance is due, but we will give you the proper paperwork to get reimbursed by your insurance company.

Please note: most insurance policies require you to have a doctors prescription, and the date must precede the manufacturing date of your orthotics. Please let us know if you do not have a note, we can do the assessment and delay manufacturing until you have your doctor's prescription.
